Qaṣd Foundation is a registered IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
All administrative and overhead expenses are separately covered by donations to Qaṣd Foundation, meaning 100% of your donated amount is distributed to your selected recipients (not including credit card processing fees).
All donations are kept private to the fullest extent of the law.
Projects
Food Parcels: 
A parcel is made up of staple food items and then distributed to the poor in Jordan.
Shelter: 
Housing costs are temporarily covered for those that are absolutely unable to provide for themselves.
Incarcerated Muslims Support:
Under the direction of a trained, experienced Muslim chaplain, foundational Islamic educational materials are provided to incarcerated Muslims in the United States.
Bedding and Blankets:
For the cold winter months, basic rugs and blankets are provided to poor families in Jordan.
Zawiya:
Assistance is provided for operational expenses of the Zawiya Abul Hasan Al-Shadhili building in Amman, Jordan in support of its educational activities.
Orphans:
Assistance is offered to orphans whose extended families cannot fully provide basic living expenses.
Lote Tree Foundation:
Support is provided for construction and maintenance of the Lote Tree Community Center, an initiative of the Lote Tree Foundation based in Toronto, Canada.
Wells:
In remote areas, construction of wells and water pumps is undertaken to provide basic access to water.
Space Heaters:
For the cold winters in Jordan, basic space heaters are provided to needy families.
Masjid Al Bushra:
Support is provided for maintenance costs for Bushra Mosque, a center for traditional Islamic education and worship, located in Amman, Jordan.
Fans:
For the hot summers in Jordan, fans are provided to needy families who cannot afford the means to otherwise cool their places of residence.
Medical Care:
Medical expenses are covered for poor individuals requiring medical treatment to save life or limb.
Education:
Basic education is provided to needy students.
Sheep:
For the purposes of expiation (fidya), sacrificial offering (qurbani/udhiya), or the blessing of a newborn (‘aqiqa), humanely raised sheep are sacrificed at the request of the donor, with the meat distributed to the poor in Jordan.
Zakat:
On the donor’s behalf, a valid and sound distribution of annual obligatory alms (zakat) is carried out to the poor in Jordan.
Mosques:
Support is provided to construct mosques in poor rural areas.
Administrative Costs:
Support for running Qasd Foundation, specifically legal, accounting, and website costs.
Other:
Projects which have been announced but not included in the list above.

Please send us an email at qasdfoundation@gmail.com specifying which project you would like your donation to fund. No credit card transaction fees are charged. You will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes from PayPal Giving Fund via email.
2) Donate via PayPal
Please specify in the “Special requests” section which project(s) you would like your donation to fund. There will be a credit card transaction fee deducted by PayPal (2.2% + $0.30 per transaction). You will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes from Qasd Foundation via email.
3) Check/Money Order
Please mail your check, payable to Qasd Foundation, to P.O. Box 910161, Lexington, KY 40591. Please specify in the memo section which project you would like your donation to fund. Your donation receipt will be mailed to the address on the check, unless an email address is noted on your check, in which case the receipt will be sent via email, which is preferred.
4) Zelle
